sports equipment and apparel to spring and summer sporting products
—and what a lineup we have! Across the northern half of the
country, lakes and streams are beginning to thaw, reviving thoughts
of open-water fishing, kayak and canoe paddling, and exhilarating
water sports in the warmth of longer sunny
days.
In the following articles,
you will see that we have scheduled April fishing seminars featuring
some of the country’s foremost experts. We also show some new
products from Korkers, and give a little insight into how Joe’s

Joe's University -- A Seasonal
Tradition
Every Fishing Department staff member was on board the
weekend of March 21-22 for the fishing version of “Joe’s
University,” a pre-season primer of piscatorial products. Each
season, Joe’s invites company product specialists to provide
in-depth, hands-on, nitty-gritty demonstrations of the year’s new
equipment, supplies and terminal tackle. And what a packed two
days it is!
This Spring’s lineup
included representatives from Daiwa, Humminbird, Lowrance,
Minn-Kota, Navionics, Pure Fishing, St. Croix and
Shimano.
Why all this
preparation? It’s just another way to bring you the best
quality, appropriately selected equipment for your outdoor
experience. We want you to have the best possible time “out
there with Joe’s,” and a thorough knowledge of our products will
help us do just that. At Joe’s, you’ll always find expertise,
and every season will bring yet another “Joe’s
University.” |

JOE'S! |

If you’ve ever waded a
boulder-strewn stream, you know what a treat it is to have felt
soles, or even studded soles, to make it easier and safer to
navigate. You may also know how easy it is to ruin some good
felts on the hike back once you leave the stream. Over the
past few years, we have been hearing more and more about Korkers
wading shoes. Korkers morph into hiking shoes, boat shoes, and more,
by virtue of interchangeable soles that (and here’s the key) stay
put!......Don’t believe me? Click on this link for a short
demo:
