The Filson Highlander Boot is a uniquely-insulated boot that will keep your feet warm and dry in the worst conditions.
- 9" height supports your ankles, keeps out mud and debris
- Smooth toe style is preferred by many consumers over moccasin toe style
- Full grain, oil tanned leather upper is tough and extremely water repellent, yet supple
- 24 oz. Mackinaw wool insulation is proven to retain heat longer than 400 gram Thinsulate insulation
- Leather lining throughout entire boot for greater comfort and water repellency
- Vibram "Olympia" rubber sole has aggressive "lugs" for superior traction on rugged, rocky terrain
- Welt construction allows us to re-sole these boots if the soles wear out
- 2 mid-soles (one rubber, one leather) provide lateral (side-to-side) support and stability
- Tempered steel shank supports your arch, to minimize fatigue
- Removable Dryz footbed that dissipates moisture continuously throughout the day and completely when shoes are removed
- Heel counter and reinforced stabilize your heel and ankle
- Pull strap makes it easier to pull the boots on
- Leather tongue with Tin Cloth gussets prevents water from leaking around tongue, but without bulk
- Embossed logos "C.C. FILSON CO, SEATTLE, SINCE 1897" on tongue, "FILSON" on right ankle
